Submit your interest. We read every application.
We reply to every applicant — usually within three weeks. Serious candidates are invited to a video interview with the HOD, followed by a site visit where logistically feasible.

Send us an email.
Send a single email to careers@waikatoplastics.nz with:
- Your CV as a PDF attachment.
- A short cover note — a paragraph or two, not a formal letter — telling us:
- The position(s) you're interested in (Fellowship, Locum SMO, or either)
- Your country of current practice and current role
- Your earliest realistic start date
- Subspecialty interest within plastic surgery, if relevant
- What brings you to Waikato — one or two sentences is fine
We read every application and reply to every applicant. Our usual response window is around three weeks; during conference travel or holiday periods it can be longer. If you haven't heard from us in a month, send a chase — emails do occasionally get lost in spam filters, and a polite nudge is welcome.
